Snowmobiling 2008

This last weekend, our family joined others on a snowmobiling trip to the cabin. We loaded up all of our winter wear, and braved the elements. The weather was perfect! lil' K and L had a blast playing in the snow and sitting on the snowmobiles, not to mention running around with their cousins. On the ride up the mountain, we were blocked from progress by a car accident. A lady was coming down the road too fast and braked hard sliding her sidways into a truck. The truck was up against a snowbank with the suv's back end into it's side. The suv's front end was in the snowbank on the other side. Our two cars and a few other cars, whipped out their shovels, cleared the snow from in front of the suv. Then F had to pull the suv back onto the road. I would have taken pics, but I think that the lady would have been even more embarassed. That evening we came back to the cabin and smelled something strange. Our niece followed the scent upstairs to find an outlet all but on fire! We quickly turned off the power and got it taken care of. It completely freaked me out. I was yelling at the kids to get downstairs, when they did we had to sit in the dark for awhile until the situation was under control. Besides that, we had a great time! F and I went on a ride together during the power outage. The next afternoon, we saw a large herd of deer, a buck and 20+ does hanging around. The kids are such great vacationers and did so well! Can't wait to go again! Enjoy the slideshow
